Wildscreen Festival 2012
Sunday 14 - Friday 19 October 2012, Bristol, UK
The Wildscreen Festival is the world’s largest, most international and most prestigious wildlife and environmental film festival.
Held in Bristol, UK since 1982, the Wildscreen Festival has helped nurture and shape the natural history filmmaking industry as we know it today - providing the finest platform for exchanging ideas, sharing best practice, showcasing productions, and offering world class training opportunities.
The Festival is a real 'Who's Who' of the industry, attracting over 550 delegates from some 40-plus countries for a week of thought provoking lectures and debates, film screenings, workshops and master classes. Playing host to industry heavyweights, the Festival is also an essential international marketplace, where films are bought and sold, commissions and collaborations established, and new talent is discovered.
The pinnacle of the week is, of course, the prestigious Panda Awards – regarded as the highest accolade within the wildlife and environmental filmmaking industry.

Call for entries - January 2012
We will raise the curtain on the 2012 Wildscreen Festival in late January, when we invite submissions from around the world for the celebrated Panda Awards, and the chance to win the coveted Golden Panda at the highlight of the Festival week – the glittering Panda Awards ceremony. Details of the 2012 Panda Awards will be announced shortly; in the meantime, you can review the categories and rules for the 2010 competition.
