Joe is a Wildscreen Award winner and Creative Director of Table Mountain Films based in Cape Town and London. He has 25 years experience producing, directing and writing for all the major international broadcasters including the BBC, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, National Geographic, PBS, ITV and Channel 4.

Allison Bean - Managing Director (Off the Fence Productions Ltd)

Allison joined Off the Fence at the beginning of June 2006. She began her television career at Survival Anglia Ltd. in 1998 after gaining her doctorate in human evolution from Cambridge University. She then went on to develop and produce natural history and science documentaries for Channel 4, ITV and TLC before moving to Granada TV in Bristol. At Granada she developed, produced and directed a wide range of award winning documentaries for Discovery, TLC, National Geographic, Animal Planet, and Five.

Barnaby Taylor - Composer

Barnaby is an Emmy-award winning composer, best known for his scores for documentaries and natural history films including landmark BBC series such as the critically acclaimed Wild China (2007), Nature’s Great Events (2009) and Frozen Planet: On Thin Ice (2011). His drama credits include the RTS award-winning series, The Indian Doctor (2010). Barnaby is currently scoring the BBC series, Wild Arabia.

Benedetta Pinelli - Executive Producer (Sky 3D)

Benedetta looks after all the 3D commissions at Sky, across all genres. They can be international co-productions, co-productions with other pay TV UK channels (Discovery/ History/ Nat Geo for example), or internal Sky productions. She is editorially involved in each of her projects, from inception to transmission.

Charlotte Scott - Producer/Director (BBC)

Charlotte’s work in the business includes: The British Isles & Europe: A Natural History, Wild China and Human Planet. More recently she worked on a collaboration between BBC’s Panorama and the NHU.

Chris Barker - Freelance Series Producer

Chris Barker is currently Series Producer of twenty programmes uncovering the secret lives of Spectral Tarsiers in Sulawesi. Over the last fifteen years Chris has produced, directed and written presenter-led and blue chip natural history shows for most broadcasters covering a range of subjects including Meerkat Manor, Steve Irwin Crocodile Hunter, Lion Country, Animal Kingdom with Steve Leonard, Lemur Island and many more.

Chris O'Leary - Video Producer (WWF-US)

Chris O’Leary shoots, edits and produces videos for World Wildlife Fund -US. An award-winning producer and director, Chris has created several television series for PBS, as well as videos for nonprofits and government agencies.

Emma Ross currently heads up the development team at Big Wave Productions. She is also an experienced producer/director and over 15 years has worked on many science and wildlife documentaries.

Honor Peters - Freelance Producer

After a childhood spent travelling the globe, and a degree in Zoology, a career in natural history TV seemed like the logical thing to do. Honor has spent the last 18 years making films, series and features for the BBC, Nat Geo, Discovery and Animal Planet among others. Highlights include two films with Jane Goodall, close encounters with baby bonobos, and an unexpected viper in Mauritania.

Jonathan Jenkins - Dubbing Mixer (Films at 59)

Jonathan has been mixing television sound for over 20 years and enjoys working in a wide variety of genres and formats. Natural history sound is a rewarding area to work in, as he often builds the soundtrack from scratch.

Oliver Goetzl - Filmmaker / Director / Producer (Gulo Film Productions)

Born 1968 in Hamburg, Oliver first studied biology specialising in zoology, functional anatomy and evolution, before beginning to work as a filmmaker in 1999. With cameraman Ivo Nörenberg he founded Gulo Film Productions in 2004 and devotes his time to directing and producing nature documentaries.

Paul is the director of VID, a media consultancy working with BBC, Bristol University & ARKive in multiplatform media, innovation and sustainable production. Paul is a BAFTA-winning Series producer of TV and multiplatform projects with 30 years experience in the BBC.

Petra Regent - Freelance / Executive Producer (ITV Studios)

Petra is responsible for developing and over-seeing new long-running wildlife series for ITV1 including "Bill Bailey's baboons" and "Wild Britain with Ray Mears".

Richard Mills - Chief Technical Officer (ONSIGHT)

With over 30 years’ experience in the film and broadcast industry, Richard leads the technical team at ONSIGHT, the leading Production Services provider. He has been responsible for award-winning innovations in the 3D field.

Sandesh Kadur - Freelance Cameraman

Sandesh Kadur has a passion for visual imagery and has made his mark as both a wildlife photographer and documentary filmmaker. His films have been shown on television networks including National Geographic, BBC, Discovery and Animal Planet. Sandesh is now documenting the Eastern Himalaya, another endangered ecosystem in critical need of conservation. He is a member of the International League of Conservation Photographers and director of Felis Creations.

Tom Matzek - Producer / Director (ORF)

Tom is author/producer/director of TV documentaries at Austria’s public broadcaster ORF. His current post is editor for ORF’s natural history program “Universum”. Tom is inspired by the expeditions of the 1930s: nature experience, outdoor life, documentary filmmaking - that’s the things that keep his fire burning.

Tomonori Take - Executive Producer (NHK Enterprises)

Tomonori Take is an executive producer at NHK Enterprises. After joining NHK in 1994 as a director/producer, he has been focusing on natural history productions, and has strived to capture the dynamic lives of the wild on high definition camera. Now he is in charge of managing the production of NHK’s 30-minute weekly natural history slot, Nature Wonder Land.

Verity Alexander - Producer (Pervasive Media Studio)

Verity is a producer at the Pervasive Media Studio in Bristol, a unique multi-disciplinary lab where a brilliant community of artists, creative companies, technologists and academics work on commercial and cultural projects in the area of pervasive media.
